The Hare’s out and about!

Check out what we’re up to with the monthly diary of events:

Saturday 5 – Sunday 6 August: We are once again excited to be hosting a large bar at South Gloucester Show this year. We’re offering a great range of ales, as well as a relaxing place to put your feet up for a bit. The show promises to be bigger and better so we hope all you locals will come and join us for a pint of Gem. The show is held at the South Gloucestershire Showground situated just off the Westerleigh Road between the large towns of Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Emersons Green and Downend.

Tuesday 8 – Sunday 12 August: CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival returns to Olympia for its 40th year, celebrating the best of British craft and real ales, cider, perry and for the first time, English Wine. A not-to-be-missed event in the beer fan’s calendar, Bath Ales fans can enjoy a Gem, or try a perfect pint of Prophecy if you haven’t already!

Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 August: Make sure to look to the skies if you’re in Bristol, as Europe’s largest annual meeting of hot air balloons, Bristol Balloon Fiesta is back. The event attracts over 130 Hot Air Balloons from across the globe to the city, with families and tourists flocking to this free event at the Ashton Court Estate.

Friday 11 – Sunday 13 August: More than music, Lakefest at Eastnor Castle has gone Hawaiian this year for 3 days of family fun in the heart of Herefordshire! There’s live music, food and drink and plenty of activities to keep the kid’s entertained, plus, bring your bike along and have a go at the free BMX course, under the watchful eye of the pros. The bars will be stocked up with Bath Ales and St Austell Brewery favorites to get the party started!
