Did you know..?
“The Swan is a pub with a traditional face but a modern heart. The interior is smart and complements the building’s original character. What’s more, it’s a place you can enjoy with friends or family, or as a couple.”

Scenic splendour

If you’re looking for a country pub within ten minutes of the busy centre of Bath then you can’t do much better than The Swan. Sitting beneath the steep escarpment that runs up to Lansdown, The Swan looks out at willow-edged fields with the River Avon meandering by in the distance.

In the brief time since we acquired and refitted the pub, its reputation for great food and well-kept beer has spread fast – so much so that we’ve had to extend the car park. In doing so, we also created a rather pleasant garden that’s proving to be a hit with our customers and their children.

Map to The Swan

The flashing speed signs that slow you down as you enter Swineford on the A431 between Bitton and Bath make The Swan difficult to miss. The pub has a large new car park, entered via the turning shown on the map.
