Did you know..?
“A great city-centre pub with none of the social stigma attached to some of the other pubs in Bath. Good food and a fine choice of beer (Bath Ales and beyond!). The pub’s manager is a friendly guy who cares about beer and keeps it very well.”
Interior of The Salamanader Exterior of The Salamander

Welcome to the pub

You’ll find The Salamander just off Queen Square in the heart of the Georgian city of Bath. Historically a ‘steak and chop house’, the premises now consist of a wonderfully simple bar on the ground floor and an impressive supper room complete with galley kitchen upstairs.

Using the finest produce from local suppliers, The Salamander is renowned for its imaginative and varied menu. You can eat informally in the bar or, if you’re enjoying a special occasion, upstairs in the restaurant.

Map to The Salamander

The Salamander is down a tiny side street in the centre of Bath, tucked between Queen Square and Milsom Street. The Sally is an oasis of quality beer and great food that’s easy to find but hard to forget.
