Clifton’s
hidden treasure
We recently took over and refitted
this traditional little pub nestled on the edge of the leafy
slopes of Clifton. It now has a light, airy feel and a friendly,
welcoming atmosphere.
To complement its exciting menu, you’ll
find a healthy range of well-kept ales and an interesting
list of superb wines.
What’s more, we reckon the Sunday
roast (available from midday to 4pm) is one of the best in
the region.

The Eldon is a little out of the
way, but we think it’s better to be out of the way than
in the way. In any case, we’re only talking a five-minute
stroll from Park Street, the Triangle or Clifton Village.
