Brewery Tours
If you'd like to get a first-hand
taste for how we turn malt, hops and water into the gorgeousness
that is Gem, the wonder that is Wild Hare and the sensation
that is Special Pale Ale. – and you fancy an entertaining evening
with your friends or colleagues – a Bath Ales brewery tour is the thing for you...
An enjoyable evening
Usually catering for group numbers of 12 to 25 people, tours take place on weekday evenings starting between 6.30pm and 7.00pm, and last approx 1 1/2 hours. They include a short talk on the history of Bath Ales, a guided tour of our brewery, an explanation of the raw ingredients and processes, and a generous tasting of our beers.
Brewery tours are available by appointment only and cost just £10 per person, with payment due two weeks before your tour takes place. Please note a brewery tour must be booked before the end of the month for the following month.
We do run occasional brewery tours for smaller numbers, and mix several groups together on one tour. We have the following dates planned for small groups tours, so if you are a couple or want to come along on your own, please get in contact.

Ideal as a Christmas gift for an ale enthusiast, gift vouchers for our brewery tours are now available. These allow the recipient to book a tour whenever it's convenient for them, and are valid for a year.

Hop to the shop
A brewery tour isn’t complete without a trolley dash around our brewery shop to pick up some tasty souvenirs.
Our brewery shop stocks all of our ales at discounted prices, a range of other drinks including local ciders and a number of rather nice wines, and our wide selection of Bath Ales clothing and accessories.
Of course, you’re more that welcome to postpone your spending spree till another time – or come back again to replenish your stocks! The brewery shop is open 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday, and 9am to midday on Saturday.

Turn your tour into something more!
When your tour ends, your evening needn’t! Why not round things off with a visit to one of our pubs, where you can enjoy a delicious meal made using local, seasonal ingredients and let your tastebuds loose on more of our ales.
